Finally got to hotel room after a long, loud, and incredibly cheerful dinner. Why yes, I can manage to string together 3 highly technical sentences for the division head about my recent work, after such a long time on the go.
Hotel is old but has a certain charm.
Also European-style room key that must be handed in at front desk each day before leaving.
Also cantankerous plumbing, counterintuitive light switches, and lousy wifi signal. Am describing plumbing as “cantankerous” rather than “European” because I’m pretty sure it’s not a cultural preference to have the shower faucet poking in one’s backside in order to get close enough to have shower water on one’s head.
But water was hot and bed is horizontal so I’m happy. Goodnight!
