We got about a foot and a half of snow in the recent storm. Here’s E heading out to dig out the plow-ridge across the end of the driveway, which was a little more solid than our snowblower could handle. It’s been a long time since we’ve gotten snow which stuck so much that it bowed down the trees like this. You can see the plow-ridge behind her came up to her waist.
M and his friends organized themselves into quite the snowball fight; if you look really closely, you can see there were 7 kids involved. M is at center, getting hit by a snowball. You can’t see the 8th participant, who was one of the neighborhood dogs. Overall, I think the dog was the winner — he was the only one who didn’t go home covered in snow and soaking wet.
